Yes. Zignature works with Dropbox personal and Dropbox Business accounts. For Business accounts, any team member can connect their personal Dropbox workspace to Zignature. Admins can also authorize Zignature as a connected app for the entire team from the Dropbox Admin Console.
Dropbox Sign is included with Dropbox Business but lacks AI field detection, CRM integrations, white-label capabilities, and flexible API pricing. Zignature gives you all of those features while still using Dropbox as your file storage backbone — the best of both platforms.
No. Zignature processes documents temporarily during the signing workflow. Your files remain in Dropbox — Zignature only stores the signed PDF output and audit trail. File access tokens are securely stored and never exposed to third parties.
Configure a destination folder in Dropbox for completed signed documents. When a signing is complete, Zignature uploads the signed PDF to your configured folder. You can set different destination folders for different teams or document types.
Yes. Each Zignature team member connects their own Dropbox account. If your team uses a shared Dropbox folder, team members can all access and send files from that shared folder through their individual Zignature + Dropbox connections.
Zignature supports PDF files from Dropbox. If your documents are in other formats (Word, PowerPoint), export them as PDF first, or use Zignature's built-in Word-to-PDF conversion when uploading directly to Zignature.
You can disconnect from Zignature's integration settings, or from Dropbox's Connected Apps settings at dropbox.com/account/applications. Disconnecting immediately revokes Zignature's access to your Dropbox files. You can reconnect anytime by going through the OAuth flow again.
