You earn a per-act rate on every completed RON session. Zignature's platform fee is deducted before payout, and your net rate is shown clearly in your notary dashboard before you accept sessions. Earnings depend entirely on your availability and demand in your licensed states — Florida, Texas, and Virginia consistently see the highest session volume.
Requirements vary by state. Some states require additional RON training or platform-specific authorization. During your application, we review your state's requirements and guide you through any additional steps. Some states (like Virginia and Florida) have streamlined processes; others require a short online course from the state's RON-approved providers.
When you're in On-Demand mode, Zignature routes incoming client requests to online notaries licensed in the required state. You receive a notification and have 30 seconds to accept or skip — there's no obligation to accept every request. If you skip, the request goes to the next available notary. You can also set scheduled hours and accept bookings in advance.
Payouts are initiated to your Stripe account immediately after each completed session. Stripe typically deposits funds within 2 business days for standard bank accounts, or same-day for Stripe Instant Payouts if your bank supports it. There are no minimum payout thresholds.
